What does the 4W in A/T4W Stand for? The 4W in A/T4W stands for Wear, Winter, Wet and Warranty.
- How is the Wildpeak A/T4W different from the Wildpeak A/T3W? The A/T4W comes with all the same features and capabilities you love from the A/T3W but with improvements in several areas and more available sizes. The A/T4W contains an updated tread design, a more durable sidewall, staggered shoulder blocks, and an all-new rubber compound that provides increased longevity and comfort on the pavement, improved resistance to wear, and better traction in diverse terrains in all weather conditions. This new compound, heavy-duty construction, along with the addition of Heavy Duty (HD) sizes ensures that the A/T4W delivers improved towing capability at higher load capacities and higher tyre pressures. The Wildpeak A/T4W also features updated Heat Diffuser technology that offers additional stability by dispelling heat from within the tyre, allowing for stability while towing at full load.
- What are the advantages of having 3-ply Duraspec technology over 2-ply? 3-ply DURASPEC technology provides a thicker and stiffer sidewall construction compared to its 2-ply counterpart. This means that the 3-ply construction is built to endure harsher off-road conditions for farther distances. The 3-ply DURASPEC technology was previously only available on our Wildpeak M/T and Wildpeak R/T tires, so we’re proud to introduce this feature to an all-terrain tire as well.
